Divers Outfit

Divers wear either wetsuits or dry suits depending on water temperature and working conditions. Wetsuits provide thermal insulation by trapping a thin layer of water, while dry suits keep the diver completely dry and are used in colder or contaminated environments. Additional protective gear may include gloves, boots, and helmets for impact protection. The diver is connected to the surface through an umbilical cable that supplies breathing air, communication lines, and sometimes a pneumotachometer hose for depth monitoring. A weight belt or harness is used to maintain proper buoyancy and stability during underwater operations.
